The Origins
Araku Valley - A serene and solace valley spread in the Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh, the lush rolling green hills accommodate Arabica Coffee that is cultivated by the small and marginal tribal farmers under the natural forest shade organically. To delight you, we selectively procured these Unique & Exotic Coffees, each with an interesting story and an exciting process involved behind making them, resulting in a distinct cup profile as diverse as the pristine Araku Valley.

Hot Air Fluid Bed Roasting
Our coffees are roasted in a ‘Hot Air Fluid Bed Roasting’ method. This is a very unique and stand alone method of roasting coffee, completely contrary to the traditional drum roasting method. Drum roasters majorly uses conductive heat, radiative heat and very little convective heat. Whereas our fluid-bed roaster uses convective heat through a circulating fountain of air which keeps the beans aloft and roast them uniformly to the core. Thus preserving the mild nuances of our coffees and further translating to a coffee with taste notes that are – Less smokier, Less burnt and Light bodied.

Roasted in small batches
We love freshly roasted coffee and would like to see even you enjoy the same. So, we opted for a small batch roasting machine, using which we custom roast the coffees only as per orders. If you prefer roasted whole beans, they are dispatched on the same day of roasting. If the order is for grounds, the beans are ground after resting / degassing them and shipped. All this to guarantee you that the coffee is at it’s peak freshness by the time it reaches you.
